How This List Came About
If we take a look at intelligence from an astrological point of view, making up this list isn’t exactly a simple thing to do. What we can do however, is to combine certain characteristics that could define intelligence in the end. For example, we once wrote an article about the laziest zodiac signs. This trait could have an effect on someone’s intelligence in case they’re not willing to study or explore new things. Another example to explain how this list came about, is to take a look at the quietest zodiac signs. Not always, but often this is a signal that people could be deep thinkers. There are multiple other traits that we took into account, but we guess you get the point.

The Smartest To Least Smartest Zodiac Signs Ranked
1. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios are considered to be the most intelligent zodiac sign. Why? First of all, they are sharp and wise, and they’re not easily fooled by others. They are highly motivated people and great at understanding the world at large. Furthermore, they never want to stop learning.
2. Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
An Aquarius is born with a very intellectual mind and they filter everything through that mind. Their cleverness enables them to stand out in a crowd. They are broad-minded enough to know that sometimes the brightest and best ideas come from others.

The Capricorn personality is very structured and organized, so it’s no surprise that they are very intelligent. They make good decisions because of their ability to look at the big picture, and they never give up when they’re working on a project or task.

The Pisces is not only intelligent but also very creative, and they always learn from their mistakes. They are also people who enjoy proving themselves better than others, which is what they think makes them different than everyone else in the world.

A Taurus is usually somewhat self-centered and therefore takes rejection more personally than they should. They are very often confused and not always super bright, although they aren’t complete dummies either. They are sometimes a bit on the lazy side as well. 8. Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leos are a lesson in contradictions. They can be silly and serious, childish and mature, and usually learn from their mistakes so they can do better next time. They do not take rejection personally but they often remain on the wrong path because they try so hard to prove themselves right.

Libras are not dumb or unintelligent but they are a bit manipulative. Although they like when things are fair and just, they also tend to be a little judgmental at times. And when rejected, they often try to get revenge on the person who rejected them rather than learn from the experience.

Sagittarius people are all about themselves and no one else, which can make them self-centered or egotistic. When it comes to making decisions or even standing up for themselves, they can be (or come across as) rather dumb.

Cancers can lack intelligence at times and are considered the cry babies of the entire zodiac system. They also tend to be hyper-sensitive and imagine wrongs even when no proof of them exists. Like we explained in our introduction, our smartest zodiac sign list is based on certain astrological traits that could have an effect on a person’s intelligence. However, this is not set in stone, especially because our “smart levels” go much further than astrology. It’ not as simple as that.
Even though we gave Scorpio the first place, and Cancer the last, be aware that astrology is a pseudoscience. In daily life, there’s a good chance that this list will be way off. Everyone can be smart, no matter their sign.
